How it all began

Hydrodog Australia was first established on the Gold Coast in 1994 when brothers, Anthony and Cristian Amos heard of someone charging $5 to wash people’s dogs in his garage.

They saw a need for a vehicle that could make the dog wash mobile, and a multimillion dollar business was born. Hitting a niche market at just the right time, they sold their first franchise in 1996 and have since grown to be Australia’s No 1 choice for dog washing and grooming.

HydroDog was featured in BRW Magazine’s 50 Fastest Growing Australian franchises 3 years running.
 Only 7 other franchise systems can make this same claim.
In 2006, the brothers sold the Australian and New Zealand rights.

There are currently around 200 operators throughout Australia and New Zealand.

They have now set their sights on the rest of the world and will be rolling out Hydrodog trailers into the global market place starting with USA in March 2010.  And you could be the first to make it happen.
